no originality
Generally speaking, these days it's like everybody wants to use the same style on their websites. It's like there's no originality these days. Everybody wants to be like everybody else. No one wants to step out and be original for once. Everybody wants that messy, brushy, textury, magazine-like look, with illegal use of celebrity images of course, which is now getting pretty old. I get tired of going to every website only to see the same style of the website I just visited 2 seconds ago. Not saying it's a bad style, but everybody wants to be the same.

It's rare that I go to a site who has put their skills to the test rather than basically doing the same style everyone else is doing. I can count on one hand (maybe two) how many sites I go to that actually don't follow this norm, rather they use their mind and creativity to the test to put something magnificent together. I think if people would just try and stop making excuses and just keep trying and not giving up there would be more original sites on the web. It's like uniforms and only a few step out to be less conformist.
