| FanUpdate : Configure |
|
Step 1: In your FanUpdate files find the blog-config.php page and open it to edit. Step 2: In the file, scroll down until you see ADMIN VARIABLES. Where it says 'admin', replace admin with what you want your username to be and where it says 'pass', replace pass with what you want your password to be. This username and password will be your FanUpdate login.
Step 3: Next, go down to DATABASE VARIABLES. For this, you will need to set up a MySQL database. Keep local host the change, all you need to do is change 'admin' (database username), 'pass' (database password), and 'database_name' (name of your database).
You can now finish the installation process by going to yoursite.com/fanupdate/install.php. |
